So you want to play guitar?
It's not nearly as difficult or as time consuming as you might think even if you have tried before.
I know what it is like to go through the attempt at being self taught and I know what it's like to go through boring lessons that don't take the individual into account and it does not have to be that way.
If the instructor looks at your goals and figures out what would get you there in the quickest and most enjoyable route then he or she is doing their job. But if they look at you as just another student and hand you the same lesson plan, it might get you to be able to play, but more often than not it will either hold you back or make you quit out of frustration.
That's where I come in --- I make sure that I pay attention to what you want to learn and I teach you in language you will understand and in a way that will require the least amount of time and effort from you. It does require you to put some effort into it, but it isn't nearly as bad as you might think. And to make it as easy as possible, I teach at your home, there is no need to travel to me and so you not only save time, but you get to keep playing after the lesson is over while it's still fresh in your mind.
So, if you are a brand new beginner or have tried to learn and got nowhere or even if you have learned some but want to advance or get a better understanding of how things in music fit together or how to write those songs you've always dreamed of writing or even if you need help learning how to use processing gear or recording equipment, contact me and I'll get you going down the road to being the musician you've always dreamed of being.
Maybe you just want to play basic folk, country or blues songs for yourself or with friends or maybe you want to play intricate jazz or intense metal, it doesn't matter. Neither does your age or your desire to play acoustic or electric or both.
If clearly shown the basics and how they will apply to what you want to play then you will be successful in learning and playing.
